COURSE DESCRIPTION:

This Industrial PCB Repair Professional Certification Course is a 5 days course designed for beginners who wish to learn PCB Repair, SMD Rework, BGA Rework, troubleshooting, diagnostics, and soldering de-soldering of various components and ICs on the Industrial Printed Circuit Boards. The course includes understanding of electronic Circuit Boards and modem interfaces such as HDMI, display port, USBs and WIFI. Course includes basic hand soldering, thru-hole, SMD soldering, and testing skills, working with microscope, oscilloscope, multimeter, power supply, IR THERMAL IMAGE CAMERA and soldering iron, working debugging, testing, troubleshooting and Rework of Industrial Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) in various industries such as Aerospace, Satellites, Appliances, HVAC, Commercial, Communications, Consumers, transportation, defense, industrial lightings, Robotics, Fitness Products, treadmills, hot tubs, SWIM SPAS, Electric Vehicles, Cars Electronics Control units (ECU), Industrial machines and more.

1 – Hand soldering and Thru- hole soldering techniques

2 – variety and definition of industrial sensors, testing and troubleshooting

3 – Definition of Industrial data protocol

4 – CAN bus control system, definition and troubleshooting

5 – Basic electronic circuit principles and functional building blocks and ability to follow multi page schematics for troubleshooting.

6 – Troubleshooting and Repair of Analog and Digital Circuit Boards.

7 – Soldering, Unsoldering, Rework

( Surface Mount Technology components down to the 16 mil pitch and through-hole components).

8 – Fine-tip hand soldering touch-up and rework of printed circuit boards using surface mount technology and through-hole components.

9 – Color identification.

10 – PCB rework using soldering tools on fine pitch components

11 – Electronic signal measurements using a variety of test equipment and methods to troubleshoot multilayer PCB product defects

12 – Testing sequences on repaired work using detailed work instructions

13 – To use hot air equipment for multi-lead device repairs

14 – Capable of effectively using electronic diagnostic tools (oscilloscope, multimeter, spectrum analyzer)

15 – Finding and fixing electrical short circuits using Infrared Digital camera images.
