SATELLITE DEVICE TECHNICIAN COURSE

COURSE OBJECTIVES:

This course is designed for beginners who want to get into the field of Satellite Device Maintenance and Repair. Students will be trained on Satellite phones, Satellite Push-To-Talk (PTT), Terminals, and Accessories, OEM devices such as IRIDIUM, INMARSAT, VASAT, ICOM, GARMIN, MOTOROLA (one device/ brand per training).

TOPICS:

1. Troubleshooting, diagnostics and repair of SATELLITE DEVICES in relation to satellite communications.
2. Calibration, and modification to Satellite devices and components.
3. How to read technical and mechanical and electrical drawings
4. Learn Mechanical skills
5. Device Power Management
6. Motherboard and Components level repair, Advanced Micro Soldering and Circuit Board Repairs, Detection and fixing of Electrical Short Circuits
7. Testing Motherboards
