SATELLITE DEVICE TECHNICIAN COURSE

COURSE OBJECTIVES:

This course is designed for beginners who want to get into the field of Satellite Device Maintenance and Repair. Students will be trained on Satellite phones, Satellite Push-To-Talk (PTT), Terminals, and Accessories, OEM devices such as IRIDIUM, INMARSAT, VASAT, ICOM, GARMIN, MOTOROLA** (one device and brand for hands-on training purpose).

TOPICS:

1. Troubleshooting, diagnostics and repair of SATEILLITE DEVICES in relation to satellite communications.
2. Calibration, and modification to Satellite devices and components.
3. How to read technical and mechanical and electrical drawings
4. Learn Mechanical skills
5. Device Power Management
6. PCB soldering and troubleshooting techniques
7. Testing devices Certificates: Institute of Electronics and Electrical Engineers (IEEE) Certificates will be awarded.

EQUIPMENT DETAILS:

SMD Tools, soldering stations, Oscilloscope, microscopes, digital multimeters, power supply, IR digital Image Camera, hot air blower.

COURSE DETAILS:

This course starts with basic level repairs and goes to Advanced level 4. IEEE CERTIFICATES: WTC is approved provider of IEEE Certificates.
